🏏 New Farnley vs Hoylandswaine – Third Time Of Asking

It’s the third meeting of the season between two of the Premier Cricket League’s clubs, and this time there is everything to play for! New Farnley and Hoylandswaine have already gone head-to-head twice this campaign, but the Yorkshire Cricket Premier Leagues Champions Competition Semi-Final on Sunday 30th August 2026 with a 12:00pm Start promises to be the biggest and most important battle yet. With a place in the Final at stake, neither side will want to give an inch.

Both clubs have enjoyed outstanding success and have established themselves as genuine powerhouses of Yorkshire club cricket. New Farnley will be determined to make home advantage count, while Hoylandswaine will arrive confident and eager to spoil the party. With talented players throughout both line-ups and plenty of familiarity between the two sides, expect a fiercely competitive contest where momentum could change in an instant.

And the prize? A place in the Final against Richmondshire on Sunday 6th September 2026. That mouth-watering prospect gives this Semi-Final an extra edge, with both teams knowing that victory will take them just one step away from lifting the Champions Competition trophy. Expect big runs, crucial wickets, outstanding catches and plenty of drama as these two rivals battle for their place in the final.

So come along to New Farnley Cricket Club and be part of what promises to be a magnificent afternoon of Yorkshire cricket. Bring the family, bring your friends, enjoy the BBQ, a cold drink and the fantastic atmosphere, and get behind the lads as New Farnley and Hoylandswaine go to battle for a third time this season — but this time, a place in the Final is on the line! 💚💛🏏

Two rivals. One semi-final. One place in the Final. Who will prevail?

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My band The Cardinals had the pleasure of playing at the club this weekend. The staff were lovely. Really accommodating. It was easy and accessible to get our equipment in. The club it’s self is a modern vibrant space and the audience were equally lovely. They were up singing and dancing from the very first song. We had an absolute blast. Defo will be returning next year. Recommended

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I hired New Farnley Cricket Club for my two boys’ joint birthday party and it was fantastic. We had all the outside alongside the cricket ground, right to the bottom where we were allowed to have a giant inflatable slide. There was a cricket match on at the same time as the party but it didn’t get in the way and we had so much space for the kids to play in. Inside we had room for the food and DJ and a little dance floor . Very nice service and staff on the bar and grounds. A lovely experience would definitely recommend for party.

Thank you! Xx

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've had a number of corporate events at New Farnley CC now and each one has been brilliant. The staff do all they can to ensure everyone is comfortable and looked after. The added bonus of being able to use the outdoor greens for summer events is great - we played cricket, rounders and boules after a lovely BBQ - all of which was set up for us by the team at the cricket club. I can highly recommend the venue for anyone considering a private event in the area.
