With a 12:00pm start, spectators can look forward to watching two talented sides packed with experienced players competing in an entertaining contest at one of Yorkshire’s premier cricket grounds.

Adding extra local interest to the occasion is the involvement of New Farnley Cricket Club. Former New Farnley wicket-keeper batsman Craig Russell will be pulling on the Three Lions shirt as he represents England Over 50’s against New Zealand Over 50’s, giving the home crowd a familiar face to get behind. Meanwhile, New Farnley’s Club Secretary, Richard Good—a proud Kiwi and former top-order batsman—will no doubt be watching with great interest as his country of birth takes on the side representing his adopted home.
