First Summer Camp

What a fantastic few days we had at our recent New Farnley Cricket Club Summer Camp! It was brilliant to see so many boys and girls enjoying themselves, learning new skills and making new friends in a fun, safe and welcoming environment. From the very first ball to the final session, the enthusiasm, effort and smiles on display made the camp a huge success.

Our experienced coaching team put together a variety of exciting drills, games and match scenarios, ensuring there was something for everyone, regardless of ability or experience. Whether the children were picking up a cricket bat for the first time or looking to develop their existing skills, every participant threw themselves into the activities with great enthusiasm and a fantastic attitude.

The biggest reward for everyone involved was seeing the children leave each day with smiles on their faces, full of confidence and already asking when they could come back! It was wonderful to watch new friendships form and see each player grow in confidence throughout the camp. A huge thank you goes to all the parents and guardians for their support, and to Jack Lonsdale and the coaching team for delivering another outstanding Summer Camp.

There’s still another opportunity to get involved, as our Second Summer Camp takes place from Monday 17th August 2026 to Wednesday 19th August 2026. Places are available, so if you’d like your child to enjoy three fun-filled days of cricket, coaching and games, we’d love to welcome them along.
