Chasing 268 for victory, New Farnley made a positive start before Alex Lilley produced the innings of the match. The talisman struck a superb 91 from 81 balls, including 14 fours, setting the platform for the successful chase.

Lilley shared a partnership of 63 with Ryan McKendry (40) before Ed Brown hit an unbeaten 73 from just 35 deliveries. Brown’s innings included seven fours and three sixes and ensured New Farnley maintained control of the chase.

Coutts then provided the finishing touches with an unbeaten 20 from 11 balls as New Farnley reached 269-4 with 23 balls to spare.

New Farnley now host Ormskirk in Round 4 on Sunday 12th July 2026, with play due to begin at 1:00pm. All support would be greatly appreciated as New Farnley look to continue their ECB National Club Championship campaign.
