The road to Wormsley continues on Sunday 2nd August 2026 as New Farnley welcome fellow Bradford Premier Cricket League rivals Woodlands in the Quarter-Finals of the ECB National Club Championship. Two of Yorkshire’s most respected clubs go head-to-head in a contest that promises outstanding cricket, fierce competition and unforgettable moments. With a place in the Semi-Finals at stake, every run, wicket and catch could prove decisive.

Supporters from across Yorkshire and beyond are encouraged to make the trip to The Barry Jackson Ground for what promises to be one of the biggest club fixtures of the summer. Whether you’re a dedicated cricket follower or simply looking for a fantastic Sunday out, you’ll witness some of the finest players in the country competing at one of the region’s premier grounds.

Make a day of it with family and friends, enjoy a cold drink from the bar, delicious BBQ food from 3:00pm onwards (cash appreciated over card payments) and hopefully plenty of sunshine while taking in the electric atmosphere.
