Junior Cricket for Every Age Group

We offer opportunities for children to get involved in cricket from an early age, with age-group teams and coaching programmes designed to support players at every stage of their development.

All Stars Cricket

A fun and engaging introduction to cricket for younger children, helping them develop fundamental movement skills, confidence and a love for the game through enjoyable activities and games.

Under 9s

Our Under 9s programme introduces young cricketers to match play and skill development in a supportive environment, focusing on participation, learning and enjoyment.

Under 11s

Players continue to develop their batting, bowling and fielding skills while gaining valuable match experience and building confidence as part of a team.

Under 13s

At this level, players are encouraged to refine their technical abilities, improve their understanding of the game and compete regularly against other clubs across the region.

Under 15s

Our Under 15s team provides a competitive environment for developing cricketers, helping prepare players for the transition into senior cricket while continuing to focus on enjoyment and personal development.

Whatever their age or experience level, every junior player at New Farnley Cricket Club is given the opportunity to learn, improve and enjoy their cricket as part of a thriving club community.

It’s a great time to be a junior at New Farnley Cricket Club. We’ve put in a lot of hard work over the last few years to ensure that all our junior members have access to the very best equipment, facilities and coaching. With a huge emphasis and a push for the club to produce and develop home grown talent, the club acted quickly by appointing four young aspiring coaches in Kai Watson, Ed Denton, Jack Lonsdale and Alex Holt.

All our sides will compete in the Heavy Woollen Junior cricket league apart from U15’s who are in the Bradford League. Summer training sessions for all the above teams will take place on Friday evenings 6-8pm from the 11th April.
